If you stick to their signature dishes, this place really delivers. The dumplings, noodles, and beef fried rice were the highlights — you can tell the noodles and dumplings are handmade fresh in-house, and it shows in the taste and texture. The eggplant was a great side to pair with the fried rice. Some dishes didn’t hit the mark — the lamb cumin fried rice with carrots wasn’t great, and the skewers were a bit dry and chewy; more fat would’ve made them tastier. Service was friendly and attentive, and the team clearly knows their craft. If you know what to order and stick to the good ones, you’ll have a very satisfying meal.

The best noodles in the world. The “flavour noodles” hit every time. Thick, chewy, and full of flavour. Lovely service and a great family run restaurant.

The food was really nice and fresh but I felt the service was a little slow as I had to grab plates and cutlery myself from the front! Also the portion sizes weren't too big as the dumplings were quite small and the noodles only had a few pieces of beef.

Ordered the beef cold noodle and the stir-fried chop noodle. The cold noodle was amazing, and the noodle texture stood out. It was my first time trying chop noodle, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned out unique and tasty. The lamb skewers were tender with just the right amount of fat, lighter than what many other places serve. The vintage vibe of the place also added to the overall experience. A good visit with memorable dishes.

We got to this place through google. At that time, we just want noodles. We practically working around chatswood, but never find this place. A truly hidden gems. Love their Datian cold noodles. It’s not exactly cold but more to room temperature. Nice chewy noodle with plenty beef. Also try their hand cut noodle. Reminds me of tteobokki, but better. Their chili oil is nicely spicy and a bit numb thanks to peppercorn. Their lamb skewers also good. Nicely seasoned and soft meat. I will come back again for sure
